I confess. I did laugh at a handful of the Natural Born Pranksters' skits. Even though I knew that I shouldn't have, I just couldn't help it.
But most of the practical jokes carried out by Roman Atwood, Dennis Roady and Vitaly Zdorovetskiy are not funny at all.
For example, when a chaffeur watches what he believes to be a normal customer 'shot dead' by 'criminals'. He is then threatened with the same fate and everyone has a jolly good giggle when it is revealed that it is a giant wind-up.
And then there is a music video in which one of the pretty girls appears to defecate in a jacuzzi.
Oh, what jolly japes they were.... not.
Those of us who were brought up on Candid Camera and Game For A Laugh have seen plenty of recorded practical jokes.
During Roman Atwood and Ben Pluimer's film the funniest pranks tend to be the ones which would have fitted into those pre-watershed shows.
Those which pushed this into 15-certificate territory are more likely to prompt its audience to reach for the sick bucket.
Atwood, Roady and Zdorovetskiyare involved in all of the stunts and often the gags are at their own expense.
Throughout they laugh like hyenas. Sadly, their humour is not always as infectious as they would have liked it to be.
